    Where you work

    The counties, cities or states you take work in. Your office stays where it is on the map; this is the ground you cover. Naming a county covers the towns in it.

    The surveyor responsible for your work

    Give the license number of a surveyor at your firm and we will check it against the state board's own roster. If it matches, your listing says so.

    We hold some states' individual rosters and not others. If we cannot check yours yet, the listing still goes up and says plainly that the license is unconfirmed. Nothing is rejected for this.

    Prove it is yours

    Use an address at your firm's own domain and the listing is yours as soon as you confirm the email. Any other address works too; it just goes to a person first.
